The worlds second largest skyscraper is going to be built and ready for 2011? This 2000 feet tall building is actually for a residential use. It is going to have 150 floors housing 1194 residences. With the building rotating a full 350 degrees form top to bottom, no two apartments will have the same view. The pent house on the 150th floor is going to be really expensive but it it sure will be a nice place to stay.

I think this is a bad idea in a way. The reason i think this is a bad idea is because if it falls down, or collapses, or even a terrorist crashes into it, so many people are going to die. By looking at the size of this thing i think that if this building were to fall down there would be over thousand people who would die in there.

I also think that this biulding is going a bad idea because the amount of money it is going to cost the stay in that biulding. It would be a lot of money to stay in the building and a lot of people don’t have that kind of money. No one would be able to stay in that building if they weren’t rich or didn’t have a high paying job.

In a way this residential building is a good idea because, well for one it can hold alot of people. It is good that it can hold many people because then the person who really owned and managed it would make lots of money. It would have good paying jobs for the people who would work there.

My friend Jamie and I made a video on how it is like to be Canadian. We had to find a story inside of a story and this is what we came up with:

If you are one of toughs people who love the environment, you might have solar or maybe even wind power to power your house. Do you want to try something else for once? Then try chicken manure. Solar power and wind power, BORING. Now with chicken poop it helps the earth and it funny.

So, chicken manure is a energy source, who knew? in the Netherlands people are planning to power 90,000 houses with the energy source of chicken poop. With so money for a plan to get this system you will have converted about 440,000 tons of chicken poop into about 270 million kilowatt hours per year, now isn’t that just exciting.

I think is a good idea because now there is a new way to power your house without hurting the environment. Also i think if people want there world to be fresh and not try to kill the environment everyone could use this. If they could let the people who want this plan farm there own chickens and use the poop and give it to them every month or so, for a less paying plan. Another reason why i think this is a really good idea is because all of the chicken waste in the world has to go somewhere, and now here is the place it can go. You don’t have to dump it in a pile and wait for it to be composted, just take it to the place and it can be turned into use full power.

The last and most important reason why i like these idea so much is because it can help poor people around the world. They can probably find a way to farm some chickens, and get the poop from the chicken. after they get the poop they can sell it to the people who want chicken poop powered houses.

      Copyright is a license that the creator of and original piece of work that the creator owns. This is so that the owner of the piece of work can decide how it used. This also means that the person who owns it has rights, rights such to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, the right to be credited for the work, which is going to perform the work, which will benefit from it, and other right related to it. That are why it’s a good use, because you can show people your work and not have them take it all and get credit for it. There is also the choice of fair use, the right to use a small piece of it for a specific purpose. Also, this license only last’s until the owner dies+50 years in canada, and after that the piece of work weathers it a movie, a picture, a logo, a logo colour, a song, or even a drawing of some sort, is released into the public domain.

      Public domain is when something can no longer be copyrighted. When something is released into the public domain anyone is free to use it without having to ask permission. This means people can take that piece put it on a something and sell it for how ever much they want to sell it for. If there were no copyright laws everything would be inside the public domain. Anything that anybody ever published could be taken and the per son who took it would get all the credit for it.

      Creative Commons is another license, only this one allow’s people to use the piece that someone made. Creative commons is a way to let people share, use and re-use. With creative commons you can choose weather you want people to sell your work or not. Without creative commons people wouldn’t be able to put out there work. Creative commons can be used on any piece work anyone can make. My mom is however doing good now. She is in Winnipeg for a week right now so she can get it checked up on, because the last time she went for a check up it was still there. So now they are giving her some more tests to see how everything is going and if the tumor is gone, hopefully it is. Today is the we will both know if it is gone. The doctors said that if its not gone then the Gama-knife surgery.

What is truth…Truth to me is something right, something that happened or that is happening that’s not a lie. Truth is something that cannot be denied in anyway, it can only be lied about. Lieing about truth is good and bad. Lieing about something big to hurt someone is lieing about the truth in a bad way. For example if some tells your friend that they like you and your friend goes and tells you that, that person doesn’t like you. They pretty much try to lie about the truth in a bad way to hurt you. Lieing about the truth can also be good not to hurt someone. For example when some tells you something other than the truth to make the truth seem better when it is really worse. They do that so the fake truth doesn’t hurt you. For me when the truth comes out most of the time it hurts real bad. The truth is hard to face, its life, and life is something you must deal with, life is something you can’t lie about. One thing to know for truth is, is that it is hard to deal with and it gets even harder to deal with if you try to leave it behind. The truth always catches up and when it does there’s always a consequence face.

When i started learning the truth it was when my got cancer and doctor called when they got the tests and my mom had to tell and me and it hurts but, it was the truth. Then one day she got sick again but we didn’t know what it was, the doctor said it was a face disease but, that wasn’t the truth. The truth was that she had a brain tumor, that truth hurt even more when they told us she only had a 50/50 chance of living. She lived but, then the had to tell us the truth about her most likely to get it again because it was a floating and that she would most likely die the third time. And now you know the truth about me.

      My name is Skye and I am twelve years old. I am in the 7th grade. I am in Mr.Fisher class(7/8)and we are from the frontier school division, in the Joseph H. Kerr school from Snow Lake.

I like and do many things just as lots of you guys do too. Some of the things I like to do are sports. Sports are my favorite especially Volley-ball. In-fact I have gotten a certificate for being the best setter on the team. In the summer, since there is a beach that you can walk to here because our town is so small, most of my friends go there mostly everyday after the ice melts and it is nice.

-(picture of my mom)(The thing in front of her face is NOT a mustache. Repeat: Not a mustache!!)      I have very good news about my mom. It is the 27th of April and my mom got back yesterday. Last week she went to Winnipeg for her surgery and didn’t get back until Saturday. She cam back with 4 hole in her but she was fine. We are still waiting to hear the results if the got it or not but, either than that we are thinking very positive about it. When she went into the surgery it was about 5am in the morning and when she got out it was about 1pm. Just to let you know she is doing good and is not all that sick anymore. If you have any more questions leave a comment and I can send them to my mom. All of the people who have sent me a comment a the blog about the surgery thanks for all of your support and prayers. My mom also says thanks too!!=D

     In a couple of weeks my mom has to go back to Winnipeg. I don’t know for how long or even if i am going to she is for sure going. The reason why she is going is to do a surgery called Gamma knife brain surgery. About two weeks ago when I went to Winnipeg, the doctors said that she couldn’t get the surgery that week that we were there because the other Sergent wasn’t there so, and they need two people to do the surgery. The doctor also said that her brain tumor shrunk 38% and that if we went home and waited like a couple weeks for this guy to come back that the brain tumor would shrink more and then the surgery wouldn’t take as long. My mom said she was also scared because when the do the surgery they have to put a box on her head to keep it stable. Te reason why she s scared of that is because they have to screw it through her skin in the back lower head and in the front upper head. Then they have to put her in the machine to do the surgery. When she is in the machine it isn’t like she is stuck in there for hours but she can listen t music and she can stop the surgery to go bathroom and eat or take a brake. I think the surgery looks cool, if only they don’t have to stick the screws through the skin in her head. She’ll be alright because the doc said it doesn’t hurt because they freeze her head first. So if anyone wants to give my mom a message comment me and I will give it to her.
